Charming All-White Transitional Kitchen

This kitchen re-design was a fun labour of love for our design team.

Our millennial client recently purchased her townhome, which was built in 1997, and wanted us to create a new design for the kitchen because the older version truly dated the home.

The kitchen is always seen as the 'heart of the home'; and in this case, the kitchen space was on the smaller scale. So naturally, we selected materials, paint colours, lighting and finishes that would open the space up and give it a larger feel so that it can be enjoyed by more than one person at the same time!

To stay within the client's budget, we decided to keep some of the original layout and we also kept the wooden blind because it brought some warmth to the space - other than that, we changed up everything else for a revived look.

New Selected Finishes :

  • Quartz countertop
  • Grey glass tiles for the backsplash
  • Polished chrome handles
  • Flush ceiling
  • Recessed lighting
  • Soft wall paint
  • Whirlpool appliances

On reveal day, our client was super thrilled that all her selections throughout the process were brought to life and she was extremely happy to have her brand new kitchen to entertain in!
