Saying that we love our clients is an understatement!
On this design project we got to work with a couple who wanted a peaceful escape from the hustle-and-bustle of everyday life. They both have hectic lives and also have a baby to boot; so creating a space where they can unwind after a long day was at the top of their list.
I, along with our other interior designer, fell in love with the bare state of the space because there was so much we could do to add the feeling we knew they wanted to feel.
LET THE FUN BEGIN!
At the beginning of the design phase, we figured out pretty early that we had really good "bones" to work with i.e. nicely painted walls, sound flooring and high ceilings. So we worked with our Classic Package and most of our time was spent on custom-designing and selecting the right furnishings that would create a totally new space with the same surroundings.
Our new concept included:
- Custom-made bed for a hotel-like feel
- Tall side tables
- Soft patterns
- Hints of purple (client's favourite colour)
- Modern, but cozy feel
- Medium-high budget
On the day of the reveal, our client, along with her sister, screamed with excitement with the sight of this room! From beginning to end, it was so much fun working with this couple and we are happy that they absolutely love their new master suite.
