Why Sail Regular When You Can Do It Luxury-Style?!

Happy Thursday!

Today I wanted to focus a little on the Caribbean side of events, and one huge event coming up is the British Virgin Islands (BVI) Music Festival! There's a huge line up of musical stars this year and the concerts usually take place in the evening time. One of the main activities visitors and patrons of the event like to do as a fun daytime getaway is to go sail-boating on the clear Caribbean Sea. It's such a fun activity and I enjoy anything that comes to the ocean so it's definitely a pastime that I, along with many others, may enjoy.

People tend to go on sailboats in groups, and those who have a little more money to spend and want a certain degree of privacy can actually charter a sailboat for the daytime. Of course since I love researching amazing interiors I decided to look up some really cool modern interiors on sailboats; the price tags were pretty pricey but I think once you see the interior cabins you'll understand why! Enjoy!

The Barracuda has a very classic look to it and the interiors don't utilize a lot of color contrast, but the Sarissa is completely opposite in this respect. Fun colors like reds, yellows and blues (primary colors) are used to spice up the different living areas in the Sarissa and the colors work really well together with the basic neutrals. The lighting of course is typical of any sailboat because there will be a lot of rocking on the boat, so it made sense to have recessed lighting and keep the hanging pendants to a minimum.

>>I personally like the flooring and ceiling materials in both sailboats and my fav image is the seating/dining area on the deck of the Sarissa sail-yacht with the blue accent pillows on the neutral sofas, and the lacquered medium colored wood table with the yellow flowers as pops of color on the plates.

Thanks for popping by!

With gratitude,
Safiya Jamila
