This was one of our favorite room designs of 2017!
This project was completely down to bare bones when we first viewed it - no ceiling design, no furnishings and accessories, and no love! Our client wanted a tastefully modern look with small hints of colour throughout the space.
Challenge accepted!!
This was our second time designing a space for this client, so we thought we knew exactly what she wanted for this space...but she had a few more things to add to our list.
Here's the wishlist we had to work with:
- Clean-lined furnishings
- White walls
- Not a lot of patterns
- Hints of pink
- Modern, but cozy feel
- Medium-high budget
- Imported lighting (for a-one-of-a-kind look)
When designing this space, the first thing we started with was the ceiling design. We created a pretty simple design which allowed for the drapery to go all the way up - so that it almost has the appearance of coming out of nowhere. Our team of guys did a great job on keeping the lines clean and ensuring that our client was happy throughout the process.
Next was the fun part: shopping and installing furnishings! Our client selected our Full Service package which allows for personal 1-on-1 shopping, so we found many of the items together which was one of the things she loved.
From beginning to end and it was such a joy to see how happy our client was after installation was completed.
